Getting to St Andrews

We can provide return transport from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews at £30 per journey each way. Please note this charge is non-refundable.
Please be aware there may be a waiting time of up to 1 hour for transport to allow for journeys to be grouped together. This can be booked during the registration process.

By train

There is no railway station in St Andrews. However, the nearest railway station to St Andrews is Leuchars only 5 miles from St Andrews, on the main line from London King's Cross via Edinburgh, or Aberdeen.  From Leuchars, there is an excellent taxi service and a frequent local bus service (see below).

From Leuchars, St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by service bus (2 to 3 buses per hour between 9am and 6pm, and less frequently at other times - see Bus timetables for details).

Airlink bus travels to Haymarket and Waverley train stations from Edinburgh airport. A frequent service by rail is available to Leuchars.
